About Me
35 years of experience
A senior expert bridging the EU and Japan, with over 35 years of experience in corporate strategy, technology transfer, and complex vertically integrated project execution.
Following 1.5 years advancing R&D initiatives in Tsukuba Science City and 2.5 years in Tokyo within Mitsubishi Electric's Headquarter Corporate Planning Department, NEODERU’s founder has a deep, first-hand understanding of both European engineering rigor and Japanese corporate decision-making structures.
Highly fluent in German (near-native) and English, with intermediate conversational Japanese (JLPT certifed). This linguistic versatility is backed by an M.Sc. in Engineering from Germany and an M.Sc. in Business Management from the UK, alongside hands-on experience managing complex, cross-border new business development projects, M&As, company valuations, and due diligence.
As the founder of NEODERU Advisory, I bring a deeply rooted track record in the EU ecosystem. Notably, I represented Greece in formulating the European Union's historic, first-ever list of Projects of Common Interest (PCI – Regulation 347/2013). My leadership experience includes serving as Team Leader for a TEN-T co-financed initiative monitored by CINEA (formerly INEA), as well as directing the application and implementation phases for several TEN-E co-financed projects. A registered EU Expert Evaluator, I also possess extensive experience coordinating with Greek national bodies and managing National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA) funding for major EU-granted energy projects.
